Publish Open Access articles

Find here the files with all Wiley journals included in the agreement:

• Wiley Fully Gold Open Access journals
• Wiley Hybrid journals

To be eligible, articles must:

• Have a corresponding author affiliated with the European University Institute (EUI) at the point of acceptance.
• Be a primary research or a review article – eligible article types are case study; commentary; data article; education; lecture; method and protocol; perspective; practice and policy; rapid publication; research article; review article; short communication; technical note. Other article types e.g. letters, editorials etc. are excluded.
• Be accepted for publication in a Wiley journal covered by the agreement (See general information tab)
  • If submitting to a fully gold open access journal your manuscript must have been submitted on or after 1 January 2024.
  • If submitting to a hybrid journal your manuscript must have been accepted for publication on or after 1 January 2024
• This agreement cannot be used to cover additional charges (e.g. cover, color, and page charges), which individual journals administer separately

What license options apply?

When selecting open access, please note that the agreement between CRUI-CARE and Wiley includes a preference for the CC BY license where available. For more information on this topic, please refer to your institutional contact for transformative agreements.
